Strategic Planning

Next steps for Strategic Planning

‌The Strategic Planning process is transitioning to its next stage: sharing collected input back with the community and shaping it into recommendations for the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan. Please review the email sent Monday, Nov. 25, for a comprehensive description of these next steps.

‌Strategic Action Agenda 2024-2025 ‌

‌Enhancing Skidmore Excellence: Strategic Action Agenda 2024-2025 is now posted on the Strategic Planning website. This document provides context for and review of last year’s SAA and presents four goals for this year’s agenda. These goals emerged from and continue to support Skidmore’s current Strategic Plan, and provide a pathway to our next Strategic Plan, 2025-2030.

‌‌Give input on strategic themes ‌

‌As part of Strategic Plan 2025-2030, members of the College community are invited to share feedback:

Human Resources

Professional development, events, training, and other opportunities ‌ ‌

  • ‌Managing the Wave of Change (for supervisors) — 9-11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 5 ‌ ‌ ‌
  • ‌The Wave of Change — 9-11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12 ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

‌Registration is required. For more information, visit the Professional Development and Training website. ‌

‌Mandatory annual trainings ‌

‌All employees (including student workers) are required to complete the annual HR mandatory trainings by next Friday Dec. 6. Required trainings will now be completed in two parts: ‌

  • ‌Part I: Taking Responsibility for Preventing Workplace Discrimination and Harassment ‌
  • ‌Part II: Title IX & You: Protecting Your Campus (faculty and staff only). A student version of the Title IX training will soon follow. ‌ ‌
